Shipping Company in Chicago IL
I have seen many emails and posts about Dominic Griffith. I can not speak for all those that have their own issues with him. I can only speak for my own dealings with him.
I started working with his company around early 2000. I handled the transportation of his goods from the Philippines to North Carolina. We have a few containers per month of wooden furniture. I delivered quite allot of freight for their company over the years and he always paid his bills.
Over time, he started selling product on Ebay. His business was BOOMING! He started importing several containers per week and they were going all over the country. I never dealt with any unhappy clients of his. There was occasionally a item missing or incorrect item shipped, but he either settled with them or shipped new product to them.
During the peak of my involvement with him, I was aware of this Ebay problem he had. There were multiple customers calling me trying to verify that he was legit and really sending product to them. I know for a fact that we delivered cargo to multiple customers that cancelled their credit card payments to him and they still received their furniture. He was losing money at every turn. We even started shipping product back to his factory after it already arrived because his clients cancelled the orders. He lost tens of thousands of dollars in shipping alone on a single shipment due to this problem with Ebay.
He still owes my company money for the shipping we handled for him back around 2005. I hope he can get back on his feet from these ordeals and repay me, but I truly feel bad for what had happened to his company. I have not pursued him hard for the money he owes me but feel he will eventually repay me for it.
I'm sure there are people out there that he owes money to. But none of this would ever had happened if Ebay would not have completely screwed him over the way they did. His word was as good as gold. Ebay put a stop to that from what I can tell.
Regards,
Lou Spina
